What to do if you’re already suffering from heatstroke

Patients who have already suffered from heat stroke can improve their prognosis through on-site first aid and medication.
1. On-site first aid: heat stroke patients need to quickly get out of the high temperature, high humidity environment, transfer to a ventilated cool place, and need to lie down to remove the clothes. Or you can use cool water spray or wet towel to wipe the whole body, at the same time fanning to accelerate evaporation, play the role of convection cooling. Closely observe the patient’s vital signs and keep the airway open.
2. Medication: Those who cannot be relieved by emergency treatment at the scene need to be sent to the hospital immediately.
If the patient has convulsions, agitation, need to follow the doctor’s instructions intravenous diazepam and other tranquilizers. Or you can choose intravenous input of saline, lactated Ringer’s fluid and other fluids, so as to restore blood volume. If the patient is hypotensive, beta agonists such as isoproterenol can be administered intravenously in order to restore normal blood pressure.
