How many more cancer cases will be added to our country every minute?

  According to a statistical analysis of the 2011 surveillance data from the National Tumor Registry, 3.37 million new cancer cases were diagnosed in China in that year. Meanwhile, the 2014 annual report of tumor registry shows that the chance of a person getting a malignant tumor in his or her lifetime is 22%. This is equivalent to 6.4 people getting cancer every minute, and each person has nearly 1/4 of the potential to get cancer. As of today, lung cancer is still the number one malignant tumor in China in terms of incidence and mortality.  What does this number mean?
