With the development of technology and the updating of the medical profession’s treatment concept, some traditional surgical methods such as lateral nasal dissection and maxillary sinus radical surgery are gradually used less frequently. The main reason for the poor efficacy or recurrence of sinusitis surgery is that traditional sinus surgery does not improve the anatomical abnormalities of the sinus openings, and now the nasal endoscopic surgery (ESS), which is a minimally invasive surgery for the anatomical abnormalities of the sinus openings, is performed under the surveillance of the nasal endoscopic display system with a special set of surgical instruments that penetrate into the nasal cavity from the nostrils to remove the diseased tissue and improve the anatomical abnormalities. Two to three days after surgery, the pain of surgery is usually completely relieved with the complete removal of the nasal stuffing. No incisions are made on the nose or face, so there are no scars and no cosmetic impact. The nasal endoscopic technique has been developed over a longer period of time and is now very mature, and most patients can be relieved of their pain.
