Condoms are also known as condoms, condoms, and “condoms” is a more colloquial term in everyday life, so in the eyes of many people, the function of condoms is to prevent pregnancy and disease, but it does not 100% complete these two difficult tasks. Condoms can be divided into four categories: male condoms, female condoms, oral sex condoms, finger condoms, the most commonly used in life is also male condoms and female condoms, their main function is to prevent disease and contraception, while oral sex condoms and finger condoms are more to avoid the fragile pubic injury bleeding, resulting in infection. The safety of condoms mainly comes from not breaking, not falling off, not leaking three, “not breaking” is easy to understand, is not broken; “not falling off” refers to good elasticity, to meet the requirements of the use of the whole process does not fall off; “not No leakage” means that the microscopic holes of the condom can prevent the passage of sperm, reproductive tract secretions and various pathogens such as viruses and bacteria. Although condoms are a well-known contraceptive tool, there are still some “leaks”, why do you get pregnant even though you are wearing a condom? Do condoms really work? The fact is that there is no 100% absolute contraceptive method, currently, condoms have more than 98% contraceptive rate, which is still considerable. Most of the pregnancies are caused by the wrong use of condoms, and in serious cases, they not only do not work but also fall inside the vagina. Condoms are not only useful for contraception, but also for the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), as they greatly reduce the risk of gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, hepatitis B and HIV transmission, and to some extent, human papillomavirus, genital herpes and syphilis infection. However, condoms do not protect against all STDs, such as warts, syphilis, and genital herpes, which can be contracted with skin-to-skin contact, so they can only minimize the chance of being infected. Condoms are our best protection when we are not ready to welcome the arrival of new life and when we are not completely sure whether both parties are safe and healthy.
