Recently, the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery successfully completed a single-port thoracoscopic pulmonary herpes resection surgery. At present, due to the difficulty of single-port thoracoscopic surgery, it can only be performed in a few larger national hospital thoracic surgery centers. The success of this surgery has filled the gap in this field in Henan Province. The pursuit of minimally invasive, the pursuit of minimal trauma, and the facilitation of rapid postoperative recovery for patients is the development direction of modern surgery. Minimally invasive thoracoscopic technology has been widely used in thoracic surgery for more than 20 years and has been developing rapidly. The advantages of minimally invasive, short operation time, less patient pain, fewer postoperative complications, and significantly shorter hospital stay have gradually emerged and have been accepted by the majority of patients. With the improvement of surgical instruments and surgical skills, the indications for surgery are expanding, and thoracoscopic techniques are gradually replacing traditional open-heart surgery. With the continuous development of minimally invasive thoracoscopic technology and the continuous improvement of surgical instruments and linear cutting anastomoses in the past decade, double-jointed and multi-angle adjustable instruments have been developed, and thoracoscopic technology has gradually developed from the original three-hole technology and double-hole technology to single-hole technology and continuously improved. The Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University has grasped the development direction of the discipline and successfully introduced this technology and is ready to carry out it widely. Single-port thoracoscopic surgery, is to use only an incision of about 2.0-100px to perform surgery. The intraoperative viewing scope and surgical instruments are passed through the same incision. To successfully adopt this technique, the operator needs to be systematically trained and proficient in basic thoracoscopic surgical techniques; he also needs to have double-jointed and multi-jointed operating instruments with adjustable surgical angles; and various instruments are reasonably designed during surgery to ensure that they can be reasonably applied in the same incision. The reduction to one surgical incision further reflects the concept of minimally invasive, and its advantages are being fully demonstrated. The application of single-port thoracoscopic technology will become more and more widespread and will become a development trend. ? It has become a key cultivation discipline of medicine in Henan Province. In the field of minimally invasive thoracic and cardiovascular surgical treatment, it has always been at the forefront in China. Combined thoracolaparoscopic radical esophageal cancer surgery, thoracoscopic radical lung cancer surgery, thoracoscopic mediastinal tumor surgery and thoracoscopic precordial surgery have long become routine procedures. The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University has integrated several minimally invasive disciplines, including thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, and invested heavily to build a training base for endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, which has successfully conducted four training sessions, covering Henan Province and radiating to neighboring provinces with remarkable results.
