How long does it usually take for frozen shoulder to heal on its own?

The self-healing process of frozen shoulder usually takes about two years, but the self-healing process is hard, especially in the early and middle stages of frozen shoulder when the shoulder joint pain is severe and the activity is impaired. Frozen shoulder, also known as 50 shoulder and condensing shoulder, mainly affects middle-aged and elderly people around 50 years old. In the early and middle stages of frozen shoulder, the pain is more intense and medication is recommended to relieve the symptoms. If the pain level of frozen shoulder is not very severe, physical therapy such as local heat application can be applied. Because the self-healing cycle of frozen shoulder is relatively long, functional exercises of the shoulder joint should be performed correctly to relieve the local symptoms and promote its recovery.
