How to do a good job of preventing new coronavirus in the family routine

Family prevention of novel coronavirus pneumonia can be handled as follows: (1) Avoid going to areas where the disease is prevalent. (2) Reduce visits to crowded public places, especially places with poor air mobility. (3) Do not touch, buy or eat wild animals; avoid markets selling live animals (poultry, seafood, wild animals, etc.) as much as possible, and fully cook poultry, meat and eggs before consumption. (4) Keep the living room clean, open windows regularly and ventilate frequently. (5) Maintain hand hygiene at all times. Reduce contact with common objects and parts of public places; wash your hands with hand sanitizer or soap in running water after returning from public places, coughing and covering your hands, before and after meals, or use alcohol-containing hand sanitizer; avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes with your hands when you are not sure if your hands are clean; cover your mouth and nose with your elbows and clothes when sneezing or coughing. (6) Wear a mask when going out. Wear medical surgical masks or N95 masks when going out to public places, seeking medical treatment and taking public transportation. (7) Maintain good hygiene and health habits, do not share towels among family members, keep your home and dishes clean, and dry your clothes and blankets regularly. Do not spit, wrap nasal and oral secretions in paper towels and dispose of them in covered garbage cans. Pay attention to nutrition and exercise moderately. (8) Take the initiative to monitor the health of individuals and family members, and take the initiative to measure body temperature when you feel feverish. If you have children at home, feel their foreheads in the morning and evening and take their temperature if they have a fever. (9) Prepare common supplies. Families should have supplies such as thermometers, disposable masks, and disinfectant supplies for home use.
