How long does it take for a mycoplasma infection to clear up a cough?

How long it takes to recover from mycoplasma infection depends on the severity of the patient’s condition, his or her immunity and the effectiveness of mycoplasma control, and its duration varies from person to person. Most patients with a mild cough do not need special treatment, but if they keep warm, avoid getting cold, and rest in bed, they can get better within 2 weeks and heal themselves. If the symptoms are obvious, not only persistent irritating cough, but even choking, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms, early treatment is needed. If the mycoplasma infection is well controlled, the cough will improve in about 1 week; if the mycoplasma infection is not well controlled, the cough will continue to appear and may even increase with the duration of the mycoplasma infection. In addition, patients with mycoplasma infection need to pay attention to the care of life, drink more water, and do a good job of cold and warm measures, so that the condition can return to normal as soon as possible.
