  Sleep is the normal physiological needs of the human body, sleep is like air, sunlight, water, is the body’s indispensable “nutrition”, deep, sweet sleep is what everyone wants to have, sleep can protect the brain, eliminate fatigue, promote the secretion of growth hormone, enhance the body’s immunity, delay aging. However, with the increase of modern mental stress and drugs and other adverse factors, the team of insomniacs is quietly growing, some people “can not sleep” at night, resulting in daytime dizziness, head swelling, physical discomfort, memory loss. Currently, the incidence of insomnia is skyrocketing, and according to statistics, about 30% of adults suffer from insomnia.  Insomnia is a symptom of a condition in which you frequently enter the night without being able to get normal sleep. Insomnia varies in its manifestation and severity, from difficulty in falling asleep to difficulty in waking up, or waking up at times, or not easily falling asleep after waking up, or even staying awake all night. This condition occurs at least three times a week and lasts for more than one month. In Chinese medical literature, insomnia is also called “no sleep”, “no sleep”, “eyes not close”, etc.  There are four main causes of insomnia in people with insomnia. The first is mental factors, such as excessive mental tension, excessive sadness, excessive excitement, excessive anxiety, excessive panic, etc. The second is the disease factor, such as neurasthenia, menopause syndrome, cerebral arteriosclerosis, myocarditis, gastric disease and the so-called kidney deficiency in Chinese medicine. The third is the environmental factors, such as changes in the living environment, poor sleep environment, etc. The fourth is the drug factor, such as some antibiotics, weight loss drugs, blood pressure drugs, hormone drugs, etc..  Insomnia patients in addition to the above aspects of treatment, another need to master some sleep until dawn small methods.      Create a good sleep environment. Such as: keep the bedroom ventilation, bedroom temperature control between eighteen to twenty-two degrees Celsius, to ensure that the humidity in the bedroom; bedroom should be the main color purple, fawn, if the room is filled with red, bright yellow and other exciting colors, will make it difficult for you to sleep; bedroom should maintain a moderate degree of darkness and quiet, which will help you to deep rest purposes.      Choose the right pillow. Excessive pillow height will cause stiffness in the neck, too low will have an uncomfortable feeling, you should choose something that can support the physiological curvature of the neck, soft and hard pillow.      It is advisable to pay attention to sleeping posture. The best sleeping posture should be “lying like a bow”. The right side and lying can make the whole body bones, muscles completely relaxed, easy to sleep, but also easy to eliminate fatigue. Supine will make the whole body bones, muscles are still in a state of tension, not easy to eliminate fatigue, and easy to make the hand placed in the chest nightmares, affecting the quality of sleep. Left side lying will make the heart is compressed, affecting the normal flow of Qi and blood.      It is not advisable to think about serious issues before going to bed, such as: economic hardship, work pressure, academic exams, etc.. Otherwise, it is easy to make the spirit over-excited, leading to insomnia.      It is not advisable to drink coffee, strong tea and other beverages before going to bed. Coffee, strong tea and other stimulating drinks, containing substances such as caffeine that can make people hyperactive, drinking before bed can make it difficult to fall asleep.
