Kidney tumors with unclear border and irregular morphology may be benign or malignant and need further examination, such as enhanced CT. There are benign and malignant renal tumors. Generally speaking, renal tumors can be manifested as parenchymal tumors with clear margins in early imaging, but if the tumor ruptures and causes bleeding, or if the tumor develops into the middle or late stage, it may lead to unclear boundaries, and the morphology will also change with irregular manifestations, which usually requires surgical treatment. Benign tumors of kidney, such as malignant tumors, can show unclear border, uneven echo and irregular shape, which need to be treated according to the size of the tumor, generally tumors below 4 cm do not need treatment. And malignant tumors can present with unclear borders and peripheral invasion. Enhanced CT generally helps to identify it. It is recommended that the patient consults the urology department for further examination and treatment.
