Medication for hypertension in combination with homocysteinemia

Patients with hypertension in combination with hyperhomocysteinemia are clinically referred to as H-type hypertension. Clinical antihypertensive drugs are mostly recommended to choose angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, or angiotensin receptor blockers, commonly used drugs such as enalapril, valsartan and irbesartan. For hyperhomocysteinemia, it is recommended to combine with folic acid tablets again to lower the level, and folic acid supplementation of 0.4-0.8 mg per day is sufficient. Also diet should pay attention to eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, like apples, pumpkin, oleander, spinach, etc.. Especially green leafy vegetables, which contain high folic acid content, can usually do stir-fried oleander, spinach soup and other such foods to supplement folic acid.
