Meningioma is a common disease in neurosurgery, but it is also a difficult and important point to deal with. Because it is a benign disease, the surgeon is required to remove the lesion as completely as possible, then it is very difficult to remove deep lesions and huge lesions, so invariably the total resection of meningioma puts more demands on the surgical skill level of neurosurgeons. Recently, we successfully completed the resection of a huge right parafalcine meningioma. The tumor was tough and tightly adhered to the brain tissue and falx, and could not be removed in pieces. The tumor was carefully separated under the microscope, and the lesion was finally excised completely. The brain tissue was well preserved. We hope that the successful resection of this giant meningioma will provide more experience for neurosurgeons.
