What are the symptoms of a skin mite infection?

Any dermatitis caused by mite bites or due to contact with their secretions or molting is collectively referred to as mite dermatitis.
The clinical symptoms of mite dermatitis are localised itching of the skin after the bite, especially at night, with localised oedematous erythema, papules, pimples and bumps, with bruises in the centre of the bite. The rash may expand until it becomes generalised.
The rash begins to fade in about 1 week and the itching subsides, leaving behind hyperpigmented patches.
