Non-atrophic gastritis is a type of chronic superficial gastritis and is the most common type. The endoscopic presentation of non-atrophic gastritis is usually mucosal edema or punctate erosion. The etiology of non-atrophic gastritis is usually caused by H. pylori infection. If a patient is diagnosed with non-atrophic gastritis after endoscopy, selective treatment can be administered depending on the cause. If the patient has non-atrophic gastritis due to H. pylori infection, Hp eradication can be performed under medical supervision. If the patient is non-Hp infected, treatment can be performed according to different etiologies for example, non-steroidal drugs can be stopped first.
