How is endometriosis detected?

If you want to check whether you have endometriosis, you need to cooperate with many tests: first, you need to have a routine gynecological examination, through which you can determine the body condition and get access to some of the lesions. Secondly, ultrasound examination is needed to determine the location of the tumor and to see if there is any tumor disease, as well as to check the size and the proliferation of similar tissues. Third, blood sampling is needed to check the CA125 value. The determination of CA125 value can determine whether there is specificity or increased sensitivity, and the index can monitor whether endometriosis occurs. Fourth, laparoscopy or MRI is performed to be able to determine whether endometriosis is present.
