Is the new coronavirus a bad cough?

Novel coronavirus does not always present with a severe cough. Novel coronavirus is usually characterized by fever, malaise, and dry cough. Upper respiratory symptoms such as nasal congestion and runny nose are rare, and some patients do not have fever or cough, and about half of them will develop dyspnea after a week. So not all patients will have symptoms of severe cough. Atypical symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea as the first symptom, or coming to the clinic with headache, others have ophthalmologic symptoms such as conjunctivitis as the first symptom, while others have only mild muscle aches in the extremities or back.
