The process of scar change and management after trauma and swelling removal

  1. The scar will gradually become lighter after the removal of the stitches is completed; 2. The scar will become obvious in about 1 month-3 months, and some people may last for a shorter time or up to 6 months. If there is significant redness, swelling, itching and pain at this time, it is recommended to consult a doctor for further treatment; 3. About 6 months-1 year the scar will gradually become lighter and softer and basically reach the final state of recovery, about 70%-80% of the facial scar will be inconspicuous. It is not possible for the scar to disappear completely, but it can reach as normal a state as possible. Anti-scar treatment is applied for 6 months-1 year after the scabs fall off after routine postoperative stitches removal, topical silicone medication can be used, and appropriate external pressure treatment can be applied if the site is located where pressure can be applied.
