It may take about six months or a year for a patient’s bowel cancer to spread to the lymph nodes. As the intestinal tumor increases in size and the depth of invasion is deeper, such as invasion to the submucosa and muscle layer, lymph node metastasis may occur, which may take half a year, and of course, some patients may take about a year. When the patient’s intestinal tumor increases further and the invasion depth is deeper, it may lead to an increase in the number of metastatic lymph nodes, and may even cause lymph node metastasis at the root of the mesenteric vessels and bloodstream metastasis, such as liver metastasis and lung metastasis. Therefore, when patients have abdominal pain, diarrhea, blood in stool, black stool and other related clinical manifestations, it is recommended to go to the hospital for physical examination, including CT physical examination, gastroscopy and other physical examinations, to further clarify the cause of the disease.
