Why tuberculosis causes breathing difficulties

Most tuberculosis does not cause dyspnea. If tuberculosis causes dyspnea, it indicates that the ventilation function or air exchange function of the lung has been seriously affected, mostly due to the following reasons: 1. Respiratory distress symptoms. 3. Tuberculosis complicated by tuberculous pleurisy, causing a large amount of pleural effusion compressing the lung tissue, leading to pulmonary atelectasis and thus respiratory distress. 4. Tuberculosis not treated effectively and timely, causing chronic pulmonary heart disease, leading to right heart insufficiency, pulmonary stasis, which seriously affects the ventilation and air exchange of the lung, thus respiratory distress symptoms. Therefore, pulmonary tuberculosis causes dyspnea and requires appropriate treatment measures according to the specific cause.
