The most common treatments for adenomyosis include painkillers and hormonal drugs or surgery to remove the lesion, and there is no such thing as the best method. Adenomyosis is a series of pathological changes caused by the proliferation of endometrial cells in the basal layer invading the interstitium of the uterine myometrium, which is mainly manifested by symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, increased menstrual flow, and prolonged menstrual period. For women with mild symptoms, with fertility requirements, or in menopause, painkillers can be taken to relieve dysmenorrhea, and hormonal drugs can be used for treatment. For young women with severe symptoms and fertility requirements, if the lesions are confined, they can be cured completely by lesion removal. If you are diagnosed with adenomyosis, do not blindly use medication on your own, but go to the hospital to communicate with your doctor and listen to his/her advice. The doctor will choose the appropriate method of treatment according to the patient’s symptoms and age.
