How long after the fracture is healed can exercise

It takes three months for the fracture to enter a period of full recovery and eight months to exercise accordingly, as it takes about eight months for the fracture to return to its original bone strength. Whether or not you can exercise after recovering from a fracture depends on the area of the fracture. If the fracture is in the finger or arm and does not affect walking, it is possible to exercise after three months. If the fracture is in a part of the leg or foot that requires weight bearing when walking, it is best to wait six months before exercising. Before exercising, it is recommended that the patient go to the local hospital for a routine examination. If the fracture is in good condition with good bone scab growth, more bone cell proliferation and disappearance of the bone line, it proves that the fracture has recovered relatively well and the corresponding exercise can be performed. If the recovery is not complete, bed rest is recommended to avoid unnecessary activities and reduce the damage to the fracture site.
