Reconstruction of an ear by skin expansion

Some children are born without ears or with underdeveloped ears, so now we can use ear reconstruction methods to restore a child’s confidence. So the most popular method is the skin expansion method, so let’s learn how the full ear reconstruction surgery is done. The surgery is performed in two sessions: the first for the placement of the expander and the treatment of the residual earlobe at the same time. The surgery is not complicated and is usually performed under local anesthesia. The stitches are removed after a week and the injection begins. The injection takes place twice a week at our hospital and takes about a month and a half in total. Then after a break of 3-6 months, a second surgery to reconstruct the ear is performed, which takes about 10-14 days, and then a break of about six months, after the reconstructed ear is basically stabilized and the scar is softened, then a third surgery is performed. You can do the earnail cavity and ear screen reconstruction to make the reconstructed ear more perfect and realistic.
