Tuberculosis can be seen by CT, which has a high resolution, and if there are lesions in the lungs, they can basically be detected by CT. However, CT of the lung cannot be used as a basis for the diagnosis of tuberculosis. For patients with suspected tuberculosis lesions in the lung, further sputum examination is required. If the sputum test is positive, combined with CT of the lungs, the diagnosis of tuberculosis can be made. If the sputum test is negative, other tests need to be completed, usually a PPD test, and further bronchoscopy is needed. If the lung lesion is suspicious, lung aspiration pathology is needed to clarify, and if necessary, diagnostic anti-tuberculosis treatment is also available.
