What happens to otoliths?

  Otoliths we call benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, from this name we can see that it can be treated well, it is a benign lesion that does not become malignant and has some relation with the location.  There are two sacs in the inner ear, the oval capsule and the balloon capsule, which are inlaid with many diamond-like calcium carbonate crystals, commonly known as otoliths. The exact cause of otoliths is still unclear and may be related to old age, insufficient blood supply to the ear, or shock to the head, etc. Its main manifestation is transient vertigo when the head is turned to a certain position.
