Lumps are a common symptom of breast cancer, and feeling a lump in the breast always causes panic in some women. In fact, a lump in the breast does not necessarily mean breast cancer. So not breast cancer, will these breast lumps go away on their own?
Types of breast lumps
Physiologic breast lumps: Some physiologic lumps, such as those formed by milk stagnation, disappear naturally once the milk is emptied. Some people may also have breast lumps before menstruation that disappear naturally after menstruation.
Pathological breast lumps: Breast lumps caused by breast diseases, such as breast enlargement, breast fibroids and breast cancer, which not only do not disappear, but can also seriously affect a woman’s health and even endanger her life.

Breast lumps found at different ages in women often contain different meanings. For example, lumps after the age of 25 are often hyperplasia of the breast; lumps in younger women are more common with fibroids; and lumps at an older age, especially around the time of menopause, are more likely to be breast cancer.
Young women are also at risk for breast cancer, so when you find a lump in your breast, you should not ignore it and go to the hospital to have the cause of the lump examined.
