What is lumbar spinal stenosis and its manifestations

  1.What is lumbar spinal stenosis?  The narrowing of the lumbar spinal canal due to the proliferation of bony and fibrous tissues such as the lesser tuberosity, which compresses the nerves and causes the corresponding symptoms, is called lumbar spinal stenosis.  2. What are the clinical manifestations of lumbar spinal stenosis?  The first characteristic manifestation is lumbar pain and intermittent claudication, which are typical manifestations of lumbar spinal stenosis. Some patients have radiating sciatic nerve pain. The second characteristic manifestation is that the patient complains a lot but the doctor finds nothing when examining the patient, i.e., the symptoms are heavy but the signs are light. Another characteristic performance is that the symptoms are reduced when bending and aggravated when extending.  3.What is intermittent claudication?  After walking for a period of time, discomfort such as back pain and lumbago, numbness, soreness and other discomfort in the lower limbs, and weakness. The symptoms can be relieved after squatting down and resting for a few minutes. The above symptoms usually occur when bending over to ride a bicycle.
