How long can you live with chronic pharyngitis?

Patients with chronic pharyngitis can usually achieve clinical recovery through active treatment and will not affect their life expectancy. Chronic pharyngitis is a chronic inflammation of the pharyngeal mucosa, submucosa and lymphatic tissues, which has a long course and is prone to recurrent attacks. Patients mainly manifest discomfort in the pharynx, itching, foreign body sensation or pharyngeal secretions are not easy to cough up, and they feel dry in the throat. There are many causes of chronic pharyngitis, such as patients who are not completely cured of acute laryngopharyngitis, frequent exposure to irritating odors, or reflux esophagitis that leads to the onset of the disease. By actively searching for the cause and treating the original disease, patients generally do not affect the life cycle. However, this disease has a certain relationship with their own physique, bad habits and living environment, so it is difficult to achieve a complete cure. Patients are advised to do physical exercise, eat lightly and maintain a happy mood in daily life, and improve the functional state of the pharyngeal mucosa by enhancing their own immune function.
