Pain with lump in the right lower palate may be caused by folliculitis. Most often seen in young patients due to more sebum on the face or jaw, uncleaned can lead to folliculitis, which manifests as an inflammatory mass and the patient has significant pain. First of all, the face needs to be cleaned and then observed. If there is pus formation on the surface, the pus should be removed if necessary and an antibiotic ointment, such as levofloxacin gel, should be applied at the same time. The pain in the right palate may also be caused by inflammation of the lymph nodes, usually secondary to a lesion inside the mouth, such as gingivitis or gum abscess. The internal oral cavity needs to be examined for lesions, and if there is gingivitis, oral medication is required, along with rinsing the mouth with a metronidazole solution. In the case of gum abscess, the abscess will also be treated by incision and drainage under local anesthesia.
