Pain in the jaw of the face into the neck is analysed for the following reasons.
Pain in the jaw of the face into the neck actually includes three different areas, the face, the jaw and the neck. It needs to be clear from the outset that lesions occurring independently in all three locations may, when the condition progresses to the point of severity, produce an involvement of pain that stimulates similar symptoms in the other two areas. Therefore, the clinic needs to consider a combination of soft tissue injuries and inflammatory lesions occurring in the face, joint dysfunction and infectious lesions occurring in the jaw, and inflammation of the lymph nodes occurring in the neck.
