This patient was entrusted by an acquaintance. The young girl was fair-skinned and easy-going. However, the back of her nose was too collapsed, the tip of her nose was also collapsed, facing the sky, and her nostrils were obviously receding. She was very distressed: her nose shape seriously affected her image; and her friends said that her nose leaked money and would not be “prosperous” in the future! Traditional rhinoplasty was basically useless: many doctors circled around her, pondered for a moment and then walked away – rhinoplasty did not work. I gave her a combination of cartilage + dermal rhinoplasty + microdynamic blepharoplasty. The best thing about the girl was that she was absolutely obedient to the doctor, unlike many domestic girls who say “listen to the doctor” and then turn around and look in the mirror over and over again, pinch themselves, calculate and deny – an obsessive-compulsive mentality that is not very suitable for direct cosmetic surgery. The surgery was performed under general anesthesia with intubation; a small piece of rib cartilage was taken from the right side for rhinoplasty; and a thin layer of dermis was taken for nasal dorsal augmentation. A blepharoplasty was also performed. It is not possible to open the patient’s eyes for adjustment under general anesthesia, it is all about experience.
