【Abstract】Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of applying neighboring flaps to repair nasal defects. Methods: Retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 32 cases of nasal defects in different parts of the nose repaired with adjacent flaps from 2004 to 2012, including 13 cases of nasal wing defects, 10 cases of nasal tip defects, 4 cases of nasal dorsal defects, 3 cases of paranasal defects, and 2 cases of combined defects of the nasal wing, nasal tip, and nasal columella, in which nasolabial sulcus flap, modified dorsal extra-long sliding flap, bilobed flap, rotary advancement flap, and frontal flap were applied to repair nasal defects. Nasal defects were repaired. Results: all cases were successfully repaired in one stage without local infection and other complications, and the shape of the nose was satisfactory with good cosmetic effect. 21 patients with malignant tumors were followed up for 3-5 years (11 patients), 1-3 years (8 patients), and 6 months-1 year (2 patients), and all of them survived without recurrence. CONCLUSION: According to different parts of the nose, size of the defect, flexible use of a variety of neighboring flaps to repair nasal defects can obtain a good nasal shape, in line with the aesthetic requirements, to meet the psychological requirements of the patient’s aesthetics.
