It takes time for the ulcer to heal, usually 4-8 weeks, so even if there is no more pain, you should still insist on the medication and review the gastroscopy before stopping the medication to confirm that the ulcer is healed before stopping the medication. 7. Can gastric ulcer become cancerous?  Can gastric ulcer become cancerous? Will gastric ulcer recur after being cured?  Most of them will recur, usually in early spring and late autumn.  What if I have heart disease and need to take aspirin enteric soluble tablets?  Be sure to take the acid control medicine at the same time, and it is better to kill H. pylori in advance if you have H. pylori infection.
