Pathological features of chronic skin ulcers

Chronic skin ulcers are often caused by infection, circulatory disorders, tumors and trauma, and multi-drug resistant bacteria can be cultured, and their wound repair is a major clinical challenge. We believe that deficiency of vital energy and stagnation of veins and channels are the main key factors in the pathogenesis. Using traditional medicine and introducing “skin regeneration technology”, we can treat both inside and outside with remarkable effect. Pathophysiology Skin ulcer is a local tissue defect caused by various reasons; if the wound has not healed for more than 2 weeks, it is a chronic skin ulcer; if it has not healed for more than 1 month, it is a chronic hard-to-heal skin ulcer. Chronic skin ulcers belong to the categories of “stubborn sores”, “polyposis”, “gangrene” and “sore” in Chinese medicine. They include vascular ulcers (arterial occlusive ulcers, varicose ulcers), traumatic ulcers, infectious ulcers, chemical ulcers, radioactive ulcers, pressure ulcers, neurotrophic ulcers, diabetic ulcers, venomous snake bite ulcers, post-burn scar ulcers, etc. Chronic skin ulcers are affected by the interaction of the causative factors “deficiency, stasis and decay”. Among them, “deficiency, stasis” is the main cause and “rot” is the standard. Generally speaking, “corruption” plays a major role in the early stage of the formation of the disease, while “deficiency” often determines the degree of development of “stasis and corruption”, and is also the inevitable result and main conflict of the late stage of chronic skin ulcers. The “deficiency” often determines the extent of the development of “stasis and decay” and is the inevitable result and main contradiction of the late stage of chronic skin ulcers, while “stasis” often runs through the development of the disease.
