Can I go to the emergency room for pneumonia?

Pneumonia is an infectious disease of the respiratory system, mainly manifesting itself as a bacterial, viral, atypical pathogenic mycoplasma or fungal infection of the lung tissue. The typical symptoms of pneumonia are fever, usually high temperature, chest pain, shortness of breath, coughing up sputum, and even coughing up blood in some patients, which can be diagnosed by emergency room for routine blood, C-reactive protein, and chest CT. Patients with persistent high fever or significant shortness of breath are recommended to be treated by emergency infusion or hospitalization, and the treatment of pneumonia usually takes 7-14 days.
