There is no so-called three kinds of malignant tumors absolutely can not do chemotherapy, only that some tumors are not sensitive to chemotherapy drugs, such as kidney cancer, liver cancer, gastrointestinal mesenchymal stromal tumors and so on, which are not effective.
1. Kidney cancer is generally resistant to chemotherapy, and the reason is related to the high expression of multidrug resistance gene in kidney cancer. For example, vincristine is a commonly used chemotherapeutic drug, and its effective rate is only 1%, while gemcitabine monotherapy for renal cancer has an effective rate of 6-8%.
2. Most of the clinically used antitumor drugs have been tried in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma, but not many of them are effective. Generally speaking, systemic chemotherapy is not ideal for liver cancer.
3. Surgical resection is the first choice for gastrointestinal mesenchymal stromal tumor, which is not sensitive to traditional chemotherapeutic drugs.
For patients with malignant tumors, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for clear diagnosis and active treatment.
