Which diseases are rheumatism?

  What is arthritis?  Arthritis, as the name implies, is a joint-related disease that is common, chronic and extremely damaging to the body. Many people have a one-sided view of arthritis as a disease of the elderly. This is not the case. Arthritis is closely related to many factors such as genetics, immune disorders, and trauma, and can occur at any age; the damage caused by arthritis is not limited to the joints, but also involves the kidneys, heart, liver, lungs, and many other organs.  What is rheumatic disease?  Most arthritis is related to immune disorders in people, and we also call it rheumatic immune disease. It includes more than two hundred diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, dry syndrome, ankylosing spondylitis, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, psoriatic arthritis, leukodystrophy, osteoarthritis, ventilation, etc. The treatment and daily care and health care of these diseases are not exactly the same, so the disease must be diagnosed before the right medicine can be prescribed.  What are the symptoms to suspect rheumatism?  Fever: more common, often of unknown origin and irregular; Pain: common joint pain, neck and shoulder pass, low back pain, heel pain, etc. Sometimes accompanied by swelling. It is an important cause of dysfunction; Skin symptoms: rash, photosensitivity, recurrent oral ulcers, vulvar ulcers, reticulocutaneous ulcers, etc.  Morning stiffness: stiffness of the joints in the morning or after rest, with restricted movement, affecting activities such as turning over, buttoning clothes, clenching fists, etc. This sensation disappears only after slow movement of the limbs.  Raynaud’s sign: whitening of the ends of the fingers and toes when they are cold or emotionally agitated, followed by purple, then red or numbness, pain, and in severe cases, skin ulceration. Dry mouth, dry eyes, muscle pain, muscle weakness Why do we need to improve our understanding of rheumatism?  According to epidemiological surveys, the incidence of rheumatic diseases is increasing year by year. China currently has 50 – 80 million rheumatism patients, rheumatism has been a serious threat to our health. However, the general public knows very little about rheumatism, and the related science education work has not been generally valued by the public, so many patients do not go to regular hospitals in time, resulting in joint deformation and disability, organ damage and even death. In order to prevent the recurrence of tragedies, we call on the general public to enhance their understanding of rheumatic diseases, raise their awareness, and seek early medical treatment once the above-mentioned symptoms appear.
