Patient: Congenital (Dec. 3rd, 2008) Had pre-operative correction. What are the requirements before the baby has surgery?
Oral and maxillofacial surgery: weight of about 6 kg, in addition need to change the pacifier feeding habit and use a small spoon for breastfeeding. Unilateral cleft lip can be operated at three and a half months. The child must not have symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection such as coughing and phlegm before surgery because our surgery is performed under general anesthesia with tracheal intubation, which is more demanding on the respiratory tract.
