Is it okay to drink a little wine for beauty?
No
In everyday life, we all think it’s okay to drink in moderation, especially red wine, which some women love, and can be used for beauty benefits. The fact is that moderate drinking can also increase the risk of breast cancer, including beer, fruit wine, rice wine and white wine, any alcoholic beverages are increased risk of breast cancer, so is it true that women can not drink red wine in the future?
The answer is that it’s best not to drink it. Red wine also contains alcohol, so don’t drink anything.
Seeing these statistics, do you still dare to drink?
Alcohol is one of the potential triggers of breast cancer. Even light alcohol consumption (≤12.5 grams per day) can increase breast cancer risk by 4%-15%. The higher the alcohol intake, the higher the risk of breast cancer, with each additional 10 grams of alcohol per day (about the alcohol content of one 330 ml can of beer, one and a half grams of red wine, or one and a half grams of white wine) increasing the risk of breast cancer by 7-10%. The earlier the intake of alcohol and the longer the history of alcohol consumption, the higher the risk of breast cancer.
Alcohol intake can also increase the risk of death in breast cancer patients. A study that included 1,977 breast cancer patients found that alcohol can alter 16 genes, and four of these genes were associated with breast cancer prognosis. One study found a link between alcohol and mortality in breast cancer patients as well, with a daily intake of 20 grams of alcohol or more (about the alcohol content of one beer, a quarter of a bottle of red wine, and one or two bottles of white wine) increasing the risk of death from breast cancer. Drinking enough alcohol can make the difficult surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy to be foregone. Therefore, for better treatment results and prognosis, it is better to quit drinking!
