On the day of admission, according to the arrangement of the nurse and doctor, come to the breast surgery ward (Building 4, Block A, 17th floor) by 5:30 am on the day of surgery or the next day to have blood drawn and do pre-surgery-related examinations. Surgical arrangements are generally made by 7:30 am on Tuesday, by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, and by 7:30 am on Thursday to gather at Ward 1, where the designated doctor will be responsible for surgical handover, signature, and organizing the patient to the operating room on the 3rd floor of the outpatient clinic; (Note: general surgery hours for McMurdo are 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 14:00 pm-17:00 pm on Tuesday; Thursday morning at 8:30-13:30 am) (Please come to the ward on time to complete the procedures according to the surgery time booked for you. Due to the large number of patients undergoing minimally invasive surgery, please wait patiently according to the arrangement of doctors and nurses. In principle, the first 10 patients admitted before 9:00 on Monday will be scheduled for surgery on Tuesday morning according to the order of admission blood draws, but patients with infectious diseases such as hepatitis on their labs will need to be adjusted to the end of surgery for healthy patients in the afternoon; the rest of patients will be operated on Tuesday afternoon in principle. 2. The cost of surgery to remove a single tumor on one side is about 7,000 RMB, if multiple tumors are removed at the same time, the cost of each additional tumor removed will increase by about 300-600 RMB (including the related surgery fee and pathological examination fee, etc.), please pay the deposit in full at the time of admission according to the doctor’s requirement (insufficient hospital deposit may affect your surgery). (Among them, 3,990 yuan for minimally invasive rotary mastectomy is a self-pay item. Some patients with bilateral breast swelling may use 2 rotary mastectomies depending on the situation, which will not be reimbursed by medical insurance. (Return to the local reimbursement.) Except for special circumstances, the general preoperative examination for minimally invasive surgery does not require fasting, and you can eat and drink properly before the surgery without fasting. 5.On the day of surgery, please wear clothes with open front buttons and looser fit (or wear hospital gowns issued by the hospital), and do not wear low-cut or high-necked clothes. 6.Provide your accurate phone number upon admission so that we can contact you when needed.
