Can radiofrequency ablation cure premature beats?

Radiofrequency ablation surgery is mainly used to treat cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, recurrent ventricular tachycardia, and premature ventricular contractions. If the premature contractions are frequent and there are fixed triggering points to induce premature contractions, radiofrequency ablation surgery is very effective and can usually cure the premature contractions. However, in some people, premature beats may be of multiple origin, for example, premature beats of multiple origin occur in various parts of the heart, and the premature beat triggering points in multiple parts may not be triggered during the RF ablation procedure, thus the potential triggering points cannot be knocked out, and premature beats may occur again after the RF ablation procedure. It is necessary to be evaluated by a doctor to determine if the procedure is suitable for the treatment of premature beats, and if the ablation procedure can be performed after the doctor’s evaluation, it is generally curable.
