Is itchy throat a new crown pneumonia?

Patients with an itchy throat do not necessarily have neoconjunctivitis; patients with acute pharyngitis and common upper respiratory tract infections can also present with an itchy throat. To distinguish between neo-crown pneumonia, the patient’s history of epidemiologic exposure is combined with further testing to clarify the diagnosis. The clinical diagnosis of neostriatal pneumonia can be confirmed if the patient has been recently exposed to patients with suspected or confirmed neostriatal pneumonia, along with a decrease in white blood cells and lymphocytes in blood tests, interstitial changes mainly in the peripheral zone on chest radiographs or lung CT, neostriatal virus nucleic acid testing and repeated positive neostriatal virus antibodies, otherwise neostriatal pneumonia can be excluded.
