PET/CT examination process: 1. Please go to PET/CT room to submit the application form filled by clinician. 2. 2.Appointment registration, price allocation and payment. Please come to the examination according to the appointed time. 3.Because of the special nature of radioactive drugs, we hope that the patient and the doctor in charge will not change the appointment date of the examination. If you can not come on time, please call 24 hours in advance to reschedule the appointment, otherwise the loss of drug costs will be borne by the examinee. 4.Medical history taking: Please ask the patient to present all examination reports, films, CT, MRI or ultrasound. The doctor will ask and record the patient’s medical history, diagnosis and treatment, and imaging data. Perform blood glucose measurement and explain to the patient the examination steps and precautions. 5. Intravenous injection of imaging agent. Different imaging agents will be used depending on the purpose of the examination. After injection, please rest quietly at the designated place, do not talk with others and avoid tense position. The waiting time after injection is different for different examination items. The doctor will tell you the specific imaging time. 6, PET / CT examination before urination, urination, please avoid urine contamination of the body surface and clothing, if contaminated, please inform the doctor. 7.Please drink water or beverages according to the doctor’s instructions before the examination. Please take out the metal objects (such as belts, keys, necklaces, jewelry, coins, etc.) from the body surface before going to the examination bed. 8. It is better to do whole body PET/CT examination with both arms raised, and the general examination time is about 10 minutes; brain examination does not need both arms raised, and the general examination time is about 6 minutes. 9.After the examination, the doctor in charge will observe whether the image quality is satisfactory or not, and the patient will leave after recognition; according to the needs of the condition, some patients may need delayed imaging or CT enhancement scanning, and they need to sign an informed consent form before the CT enhancement examination. 10. Under normal circumstances, the report will be available in three working days. Please take the appointment slip to collect the report. For those who need consultation on the diagnostic report, please ask the relevant personnel to explain. 11. Although PET/CT is a high-tech examination with an overall diagnostic accuracy of about 90%, false positives and false negatives still occur. The patient and his family are fully informed of the above and agree to undergo PET/CT examination. PET/CT examination precautions: 1. Fasting for 4-6 hours before the examination (do not eat breakfast for those who make an appointment for the morning examination and do not eat lunch for those who make an appointment for the afternoon examination). The exception is for myocardial examination. 2, carry good previous examination information (including medical history, CT, MRI, pathology, and treatment, etc.) 3, 2 hours before the examination is prohibited to do strenuous exercise, need to rest for half an hour before imaging. 4, the day before the examination dinner into a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet (such as: meat, eggs, seafood, less cereals, fruits). 5, diabetic patients need to contact the PET/CT center in advance to control blood glucose concentration.
