Is the prescription credible? Caution is needed

There are some people around us who, after falling ill, do not think of going to the hospital first, but look for prescriptions. They always adhere to the concept of “prescriptions to cure a serious illness”. Many people go to the hospital only after they have used numerous prescriptions that are ineffective, resulting in the condition going from mild to severe, or the condition becoming more complicated with the prescriptions and much more difficult to treat than it was at first. Is it true that prescriptions can cure serious diseases? From ancient times to the present, people have accumulated a large number of recipes and prescriptions in their lives, of which there is no shortage of effective ones, but it is inevitable that there is a mixture of good and bad, mixed with fish and dragons. A large part of these prescriptions are not verified by any, or the effect is uncertain. Moreover, among the many prescriptions, although there are some effective prescriptions, but if used improperly, not only can not achieve the desired effect, but also have the opposite effect. For example, in some areas of the South, there is a prescription for drinking Chuanwu wine to treat arthritis, but Chuanwu is toxic, and once consumed in excess, it can be toxic and even life-threatening. Then there are cases of poisoning from consuming fish but for prescriptions, which are also common. Some people feel that the effect of eye drops (cream) is better, so, after suffering from nasal congestion, rhinitis, simply use eye drops (cream) clear (coated) in the nose to treat. In fact, this is very dangerous, because the nasal mucosa blood supply is good, fast absorption, if the abuse of eye drops nose to treat, it is very easy to occur poisoning. It is not uncommon to take prescriptions containing lead compounds for asthma, epilepsy, roundworm expulsion, abortion, etc. These lead compounds such as lead, lead pellets, lead cream, myrrh, black pellets, camphor pellets, etc. They are also used to make wine in tin pots and tin jugs, and lead powder is mistaken for yam powder and taken by mistake, which leads to lead poisoning.
