Self-diagnosis of chronic pharyngitis

  Three diagnostic basis: 1, medical history: (1), often have a history of recurrent episodes of acute pharyngitis; (2), due to nasal disease, long-term open-mouth breathing; (3), excessive smoking and alcohol, dry surroundings, dust and irritating gas pollution, etc.  2, symptoms: (1), pharyngeal discomfort, or pain, or itching, or dryness, burning, smoky, foreign body sensation; (2), irritating cough, morning forceful coughing up secretions, or even vomiting; (3), the duration of the disease more than 2 months, often due to cold, cold, fatigue, talkative and other reasons caused by the attack.  3, examination: (1), chronic congestion in the pharynx, dark red mucosa, or dendritic congestion; (2), hyperplasia of lymphatic follicles in the posterior pharyngeal wall, or enlargement of the lateral pharyngeal cord; (3), hyperplasia and hypertrophy of the pharyngeal mucosa, or dryness, atrophy, thinning, and adhesion of secretions.
