Rectal polyps are generally not treatable by taking medication. Intestinal polyps is the general term for all the elevated lesions on the intestinal mucosa, from the mucosal surface of the colon protruding into the intestinal lumen of the polypoid lesions, in layman’s terms, that is, the intestinal tract has grown some lumps of meat, the human body’s entire digestive tract can be polyp growth, which is the most common in the colon and rectal polyps, the small intestinal polyps are relatively small. They are called colon polyps until the nature of the pathology is determined. The types of polyp pathology include neoplastic and non-neoplastic lesions. Nonneoplastic include inflammatory polyps, hyperplastic polyps, and stromal polyps; neoplastic include adenomatous polyps and serrated polyps. This hyperplastic bulge can only be eliminated by surgery. Rectal polyps can only be prevented from becoming cancerous if they are surgically eliminated. Therefore, it is recommended that patients who have been diagnosed with colon polyps should go to regular hospitals in time to have the polyps removed and have regular colonoscopies.
