Precautions for infertile couples before their first visit The best time for the male partner to have his semen checked is when he has not had any spermatozoa for 2-7 days and has not had any recent alcohol, exertion or smoking. The most basic checkups for the female side are ultrasound monitoring of follicles, female endocrinology, and tubal fluids or imaging. 1, usually regular menstrual cycle (i.e. menstruation cycle of about 30 days), it is recommended to come to the hospital to monitor the follicles from the 9th to 12th day of menstrual bleeding, to guide the fertilization. 2.For those who usually have irregular menstrual cycles (i.e. menstrual cycles are too short or prolonged to more than 35 days), it is recommended to come to the hospital for endocrine examination and ultrasonography on the 2nd-3rd or 21st day of the menstrual flow on an empty stomach (consult with your doctor). 3.Tubal Fluidization or Imaging: Normal menstruation is completely clean for 3-7 days, no intercourse, no recent cold or fever, bring a companion to the hospital.
