Causes of gum recession

Generally speaking, periodontitis is the main cause of receding gums. In addition to periodontitis, improper brushing not only fails to protect but also damages teeth and periodontal tissues, such as overly hard toothbrushes, too coarse particles of rubbing agent in toothpaste and sawing brushing, which may lead to gum recession. Poorly made dentures with poor restorations are not easy to clean and can lead to poor periodontal hygiene, which can also lead to gum recession. There are also excessive biting forces due to various causes that can cause abnormal tooth movement and recede the gums.
