What factors can trigger the formation of intrahepatic calcified foci?

Foci of intrahepatic calcification can encase necrotic or damaged tissue and promote its recovery, so factors that cause liver damage can cause foci of intrahepatic calcification.
Disease factors: e.g. hepatitis, liver tuberculosis, liver abscess, liver encapsulation, liver schistosomiasis, liver cancer, liver haemangioma, liver metastatic tumours, etc.
Medication factors: frequent use of oral contraceptives, or use of estrogen and progestin, immunosuppressants and other drugs to treat disease.
Environmental factors: living in infected water areas or frequent close contact with people suffering from infectious diseases of the liver.
Dietary factors: lack of dietary hygiene, consumption of mouldy food, preference for greasy and high-fat food, etc.
Personal factors: congenital dysplasia, disorders of calcium and phosphorus metabolism, smoking, alcoholism, etc.
