Can a premature baby eat a section of formula?

If the baby’s birth weight is less than 2kg, it is recommended to eat preemie milk powder instead of one section of milk powder. If you eat breast milk, you can add breast milk fortification, and generally eat preterm formula until the baby’s weight reaches 25%-50% of the average weight for the same gestational age or weighs more than 5kg, you can switch to ordinary newborn formula or a section of formula. If the baby’s birth weight is more than 2kg and the birth weight is more than 10% of the average weight for the same gestational age, you can eat one formula. It is important to observe the baby’s weight gain, if the weight gain is slow or the weight is consistently less than 10% you should switch to preterm formula for feeding.
