What are the measures for HIV prevention

The prevention of AIDS currently focuses on three aspects. Management of the source of infection is to report AIDS patients to the local CDC in a timely manner, and to provide timely treatment and regular follow-up for such patients. Second, cut off the transmission route, for AIDS patients need to strengthen the propaganda of prevention and treatment knowledge, high-risk groups should use condoms, and standardized treatment of related STDs, for medical personnel should strengthen the propaganda of occupational exposure protection knowledge. To improve the management of blood sources, do a good job of blood donation and HIV screening of blood donors; combat drug trafficking and drug abuse; pregnant women infected with HIV need to take oral medication in time for mother-to-child interruption. Third, to protect susceptible people, oral anti-HIV drugs can be taken to block the infection for those who already have high-risk behavior. For AIDS, there is no good vaccine to prevent it, but a vaccine is under development.
